I'm back!! had a very enjoyable trip to Bangkok. =)
I'm so lovin' it. haha.

alrite. so i took the flight off to Bangkok via AirAsia at 1540hrs(sin), right after my night shift the previous day. was basically sleeping the entire flight there. touch down Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 1710hrs(bkk). we headed for our hotel at The Twin Towers Hotel to check in, which it's quite grand. dropped off our baggages and we took a cab ride to Chinatown for a chinese restaurant, China Town Scala Shark-Fins Restaurant. i would say, it's cheap, good, and oii-shi!! lol. we ordered shark fins, drunkard chicken, fried rice, and also bird nest! Yummy!! right afterwards, we hailed down to this live band club Hollywood Awards, which is basically sexy ladies dancing with live band. awesome.

woke up early to head for the buffet breakfast provided by the hotel, which was not bad. a very sumptuous one. got back to hotel room to change and we headed out for our massage!! haha. yeah. took a tuk tuk which drove us to the National Stadium skytrain station, and took a train ride to On Nut. The massage place is called Pimmalai(www.pimmalai.com). A very nice location, with a relaxing ambience! I had the aromatherapy massage for 1.5hrs, which i really had a very very nice relaxing and refreshing massage. Nice! Fully charged and energized, we headed for our Day 1 shopping! took the train to Siam station and we arrived at the CentralWorld Mall. it's freakin' huge and grand looking. There's Isetan, Zen departmental stores, and many many more, 500++ shops. Walked further down and we reached the Siam Discovery, which mainly are all the high fashion established brands products. Had our late lunch at one of the restaurant called China White, which i ordered this noodle called Guy Noodle. it's good. Finishing the lunch, we carried on our shopping spree to this place i would really called "The ladies paradise", it's the Platinum Fashion Mall at Ratchathewi . it's 6 storeys, and it consist of 98% ladies fashion. yes. LADIES!!! There are almost 700++ outlets, and 650 of them would probably be selling only ladies fashion. SO, me and my guy buddy would be like looking around to see babes(which we called 'veggie'(in chinese)). From school girls, to foreign chicks, and of course not forgetting the local ones. Variety! lol. Half a day of shopping was really a tiring one, and so we headed back to the hotel for a break. At around 8.30pm, it's time we head for a drink and some nightlife clubbing!! Oh yeah BABY!. Took a cab from hotel to Royal City Avenue, more commonly known as RCA. It's the nightlife zone of Bangkok, with clubs like 808, Slim/Flix, Route 66, JazzIt and Inch. We went to Route 66, and damn, there was like no crowd.. Ordered a few drinks and waited to see if the crowds coming in. So at around 10.45pm, we decided to called it a day, probably it's monday night and people are tired from a fresh week.

Wake up and headed for a coffee at the buffett breakfast, because we're going for some Dim Sum meal in the later morning. So a quick coffee break and out we headed for the roads. I always wanted to see the floating market in Thailand, because i think it's quite interesting to sit on a sampan or boat and buy something. So, after much 'psycho' to my guide buddy, we took a cab and headed for the floating market tour! The taxi driver drove us to this place called the Flower Market, and keep saying, "Floating Market". so we dropped off the cab and reach this @^%^%@$# place. lol. took a strolled down the Flower Market, which was a nice and pleasant place, with lots of different varieties of flowers. Colorful! Hailed on another cab and we finally reached the Taling Chan Floating Market. Being so damn high with lots of excitement, i walked quickly down the road, and ................... @%#^#%^@, not a single sight of any sampan or boats! the river is completely empty and not a single soul at all. so sad. =( left the place and headed for our Dim Sum. reached the place called The Canton House, and the dim sum is cheaaaaap. like only 15baht/dish(approx. 50-60 cents SGD). we're like, "Just Order la!" lol. and we ate really quite alot of them. lol. after which, we continue our shopping Day 2, at Platinum Fashion Mall!!!! why? because we only manage to 'conquer' first 3 levels the previous days, and having a lady friend around, she would not have want to miss out the other levels. But before that, we headed opposite the mall for the street flea market. whoo. items are all going at cheap rates, belts, boardshorts, slippers, and many more. After clearing all the levels at Platinum Mall, we hopped on a tuk tuk and headed for the famous MahBoonKrong a.k.a. MBK. Oh yeah! Streets fashion and street wear! MBK really sells cheap t-shirts, walkshorts and whole lots of streets apparels. I bought one Billabong and one Dickies walkshorts, T-shirts, belt. haha. and the best is they dont have any changing room, so u gotta change and try the pants openly in the shop itself.. LOL! and so i did!! Walk round and round and the more and more items we bought. SHOPPING SPREE! too much of a walking, we decided to chill for a short while, and headed for the McDonalds in MBK. And what did i see? McPORK!! LOL. they sell 'McBABI'. haha. definitely have to try it, and when we ordered for the upsized, i was stunned by the cup they brought out. it stated 'XL size Coke' on the receipt. Goodness!!! my stomach was like freakin' bloated.. pertruding one! haha. after that, next stop we've reached Siam Paragon. MY GOD! Siam Paragon is really a place 5 times luxurious our local Paragon. They sell Lambourghini, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and many many more. And my eyes was like glued to the Lambourghini Diablo! dope!. whole day of shopping, it's time to call it to end, and we decided to ride a tuk tuk back to hotel. And man, the tuk tuk ride was like 'TOO FAST TOO FURIOUS 3'... fast and cutting lanes! Within minutes, tahtah!, hotel doorsteps. Whoo! haha.

2nd last day of the trip. we were so into the massage that day, that we decided to head on back to the same place for a Round 2 of massage. haha. but this time round, both my buddy and the girl had foot reflexology, while i decided to give my bones and body some stretch, and did the Back and shoulder massage, and i tell you, this massage will make you become all sorts of 'U' shape, and lots of 'cracking' sound coming out from your body!! lol. but the aftermath is damn shiok! haha. love it. later on, we continue to go round shopping the different locations that we've been for the first 2 days, to see if we had anything we missed out that we wanna purchase and see any new interesting items. MBK, Siam Paragon, CentralWorld... and whole lot more. And our late lunch was a long awaited one, the fastfood i pinned for long long time... A&W !!! whoohoO! Rootbeer float, fried chicken.. Yum yum yummy!! I love root beer! Nice. Lunch doneded, and we continue our final shopping spree to buy whatever we K.I.V(Keep In View) beforehand. And, we also bought the Thai Version MAXIM MAGAZINE! haha. the covergirl looks just gorgeous. even though we can't understand the words on the magazine, those pictures in it just made it worthwhile. whahaha. Got back to hotel, we slack abit in our room watching the Discovery channel, before we headed out for our final dinner in Bangkok, and something we wanted to eat! And its.... KAU RU ZHU!!(barbeque pork, the skin that's so damn crispy!) it's damn damn damn nice! the taste, the crispyness, and the thin layer of fats there! Heavenly!. So after a filling dinner, we headed for our final clubbing night at RCA, and this time we went to Slim/Flix club. and oh yeah, there was the crowd and the awesome vibes of music, hip hop, rnb and break beats. dope dope! a real fun, wild, high, energized and awesome night, with of course some wasted chances happened which i didn't even realized. lol. i'm a lousy drinker! =( and in case you're not sure, Clubs in Bangkok operate legally till 2am.only. and Thats it!

Final Day of the Bangkok trip. Today was just basically for us to squeeze in all our goodies and shopping items into our baggages and just to slack in the hotel till check out time. We check out at 12noon and headed to the Suvarnabhumi International Airport for our lunch and a stroll around the airport shopping malls. Check in our flights at 1.40pm and waited to board on flight back home. 3.40pm and we boarded our flight and leave the land of thousand smiles!. again i slept on the flight back. lol. And 8.10pm, safely landed on our home Changi International Airport, and that ended the trip to Bangkok.
a good trip it was. simply enjoying every moment. love it. definitely will be back there for a next trip. haha. Love Thailand! missed there! =)
